Instructions and Help about Far 52.213-3 form

Welcome to our webinar on how a contract is created using the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This is part three in a four-part series on understanding the roles of government contracting. A recording of part one, which was understanding the FAR, and part two, how the government plans contracts, are both available on our website. At the end, we'll share the schedule for part four. My name is Christina Hunkel, and I'm the program director for the Northern California Procurement Technical Assistance Center. I'm just going to speak briefly about the services of the key task and FCC programs before our procurement specialist, Wen Ting, begins the presentation. We are a non-profit program of the NorCal SDBC. The PEACOCK and the SBDC are both federally funded and hosted by Humboldt State University Sponsored Program Foundation in Arcata, California. The NorCal PEACOCK is funded to provide one-on-one counseling services on procurement topics to businesses in Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Shasta, Solano, and Trinity County. These counties are shown in the map on your left in green. These county restrictions are determined by federal definitions of economically distressed counties. There are also about 100 other PEACOCKs across the U.S. The NorCal SBDC is shown on the map to the right in red. Each color on the map on the right represents a different SBDC region. SBDCs provide free one-on-one counseling services on more general business topics, and they may be able to assist with procurement topics. Their service area slightly overlaps the PEACOCK service area from the Oregon border in Del Mar County all the way down the coast to the Bay Area and down to Santa Cruz County. To apply for SBDC services, you can click on the blue link here to find the SBDC nearest you. This will be sent to you...
